Role Overview:
The Director of Global Business Development will lead business development coordination, partnerships, and management of DFC’s overseas presence. This includes setting goals, tracking pipeline efforts, facilitating relationships, and ensuring alignment with agency objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set goals for overseas offices, develop relationships, and support policy efforts to increase investments.
- Ease hand-off of investing chance from abroad to DC teams.
- Lead global partnerships across public and private sectors.
- Supervise staff, promoting collaboration and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Specialized Experience:
- At least one year at GS-15 level (or equivalent).
- Experience in business development, emerging markets finance, and investment origination.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills in a geographically dispersed environment.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Proven leadership in managing multi-tiered teams.
- Experience in developing and execute planned business scheme.
- Expertise in emerging markets finance and geopolitics.
- Successful network building with financial institutions to generate investments.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship or National
- Security clearance required
- Willingness to travel internationally
