Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range:
- $89,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience and location.

About the Role
The DEI Specialist will work closely with Affirm’s DEI Manager to implement and execute strategies that embed diversity, equity, and inclusion into the organization’s culture. The position involves managing small-to-medium scale projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting Affirm’s larger DEI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end small-to-mid-scale DEI projects aligned with Affirm’s broader strategy.
- Provide project management support, ensuring tasks stay on track and cross-functional partners remain informed.
- Assist with vendor coordination, project budgeting, and logistics planning.
- Analyze engagement and DEI survey data to help set measurable goals and execute action plans.
- Manage internal communication and support channels, addressing employee queries related to DEI programs.
- Maintain and analyze program metrics, providing insights to refine processes and improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with People Business Partners, ERG leaders, and other internal teams to address DEI needs.
- Organize and manage administrative tasks, such as calendaring, communication drafts, and data tracking.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-4+ years in program or project management, preferably within DEI or people-focused initiatives.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Proficiency in executing multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail and organization.
- Advanced relationship-building skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams
- Creative thinking to generate innovative ideas and a growth-oriented mindset.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with systems like Workday, Slack, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
