Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage store operations, reporting to the Area Manager, utilizing data and reports on financial and operational performance at both the store and department levels.
• Coordinate with store team members to ensure optimal resource use and meet service level standards, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Communicate corporate standards and key performance drivers to store personnel, ensuring adherence to behavior expectations that support cost and service level targets.
• Ensure that store policies, procedures, and safety standards are effectively implemented and followed.
• Monitor and control store costs to align with the budget, striving to maximize operational efficiency.
• Address and take action on store shrinkage issues to reduce losses.
• Provide feedback to the Merchandise team regarding customer needs and preferences.
• Oversee the maintenance and proper use of store equipment and infrastructure, ensuring they remain in good working condition.
• Supervise hygiene, sanitation, security, and safety standards to maintain a high level of customer service both internally and externally.
• Address and resolve customer and staff complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the Area Manager to identify and resolve store issues, proposing effective solutions.
• Contribute to the store’s budget and business plan, ensuring alignment with departmental guidelines.
• Coordinate recruitment and training efforts to ensure the store is staffed with qualified personnel.
• Support the training and development of staff and managers, ensuring adherence to relevant HR policies and procedures.
