Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Industrial-Organizational (I/O) Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving employee performance, enhancing workplace dynamics, and optimizing HR processes. You will apply psychological principles to solve organizational problems, enhance productivity, and support both employees and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Appraisal & Development: Assess individual and team job performance, provide coaching, and create career development plans.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs, address skills gaps, and design cost-effective training solutions to improve employee performance.
  • Employee Relations: Mediate between employees and management, resolving conflicts and promoting positive work environments.
  • Psychometric & Personality Assessments: Develop and implement personality and skill assessment tests to understand employees’ strengths and areas for growth.
  • Job Design: Help design roles and responsibilities that align with organizational goals and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Behavioral Analysis: Study consumer behavior to assist employees in understanding customer needs and improving service delivery.
  • Optimizing Workflows: Analyze office floor plans and communication strategies to boost collaboration and productivity across departments.

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Hiring Process Improvement: Help refine hiring processes, including initial screening, to ensure the selection of candidates that best fit organizational needs.
  • HR Issue Management: Address organizational challenges and personal conflicts, offering psychological guidance to improve employee well-being and professional relationships.
  • Enhancing Job Satisfaction: Develop strategies to increase employee engagement and productivity by promoting emotional intelligence and managing workplace stress.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues, inspire trust, and facilitate meaningful dialogue.
  • Resilience & Positive Attitude: The ability to maintain a constructive approach in challenging situations.
  • IT Proficiency: Proficient with online assessment platforms and project management tools.
  • Creative Approach: Develop imaginative training programs and solutions tailored to specific workplace issues.
  • Conflict Resolution: Expertise in addressing organizational or interpersonal conflicts effectively.
  • Planning & Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, organize, hire, and train staff in an efficient and systematic manner.

Additional Important Skills:

  • Emotional Intelligence: Skilled in understanding and responding to emotions in yourself and others, especially when interacting with diverse personalities.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to gather and interpret data to measure the success of interventions, employee satisfaction, and organizational improvements.
  • Negotiation & Persuasion: Capable of negotiating and finding mutually beneficial solutions for compensation, contracts, and dispute resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/BS or Master’s/MS in Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related fields from an HEC-recognized university or reputable international institution.
