Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Student Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting students’ emotional and professional growth, developing counseling programs, and providing guidance on educational and vocational choices. This position will also involve managing admissions, visa applications, and helping students select courses at foreign educational institutes and universities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries from students received through emails, social media, and other channels, providing accurate and relevant information.
- Convert initial inquiries into mature cases by following up and guiding the students through the decision-making process.
- Advise students on career options, selection of courses, and admission to foreign universities.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of visa applications.
- Identify and manage prospective clients through different communication channels, including online queries and in-person visits.
- Process and handle client cases with extreme care, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups.
- Address queries from both clients and internal departments, providing timely responses and necessary updates.
- Maintain a patient, friendly, and professional attitude while helping students navigate their educational journey.
Requirements:
- A Graduate or Master’s degree (preferred).
- At least 1 year of experience in student counseling (preferred).
- Strong communication skills and excellent active listening abilities.
- A compassionate, friendly, and approachable personality.
